Abandonment is a remake of one of my previous Halo 3 maps on Foundry (CLOSED IN), and is a favorite out of all my maps amongst everyone on my friends list that have played it. The original worked flawlessly with free-for-all gametypes, such as Slayer, Oddball, and KOTH. Abandonment is designed for 2-6 Players, as well. There really isn't any central design or theme to thie original map, and neither does Abandonment. Abandonment is a almost 1:1 remake of the original. There are a few slight, noticeable changes, but the gameplay remains virtually the same. I am really glad to have remade this map and it is in the finishing stages, all that needs to be done is gametesting. Looks good but i looks like in the original you could jump onto the dumpster then jump up to that walkway, while in the remake it looks like you are stuck down there, i havent played this map so there could be a jump pad right there. Either way i like the simplicity of both.
Looks pretty nice. Is the dumpster replacement a jump pad? If not, I would suggest it. As alreadyRogue said, while it looks like you can jump up in the old version, it doesn't look like you can in the new one. I'm curious to see more than just a few corridors. I like the overall look of it (I particularly like the use of the Tunnel, Long pieces. I'm just a sucker for them). Can't wait to try this out once it's ready.
This was fun to play, I like maps that get more fun as you learn them, though this was at least a little confusing. Besides Paragon, this is one of your better maps!
