Is there any way to make a starting point that forces a VIP to spawn on it? I'm trying to brain storm a Cave Freaks/Hostage Rescue type but the problem that keeps apearing is forcing the VIP to spawn in that one part. I was thinking of somehow using spawn areas to do so but I'm not sure. I looked at the Forging 101 tutorial about spawns and it said nothing about this problem I'm having, is this one of those "impossible to do with forge" ideas?

    If only....

There's been a lot of discussion on this.
Unfortunately there is no way to do this, and your idea sounds pretty cool.

i had the exact same idea, worked really hard on it, and came up with nothing. Theres no VIP spawn point, you could use a VIP point to get them to where you want, but that would take a away from the game. I think this may be a "impossible to do with forge" kinda thing, i hope not though!

The only way I know to do it is essentially have all players start off spawning in a "Deathroom" that is set to cause a situation only a vip can survive. Then force the only living player, the VIP into a teleporter. The reciever is basically your "spawn point" Unfortunately, you can't have people start a point down so you need to make sure your settings allow this without a change of score. However, this can lead to undesirable effects such as excessive suicides if I recall. That should basically cover it. What type of situation is up to you and how your vip spawns. Since most have overshields and the enemies do not you should be save with a few fusion coils dropping.

There are other variations but this is the easiest and takes up the least space. It is also*possible to say have the VIP start spawn with 50% gravity for 10 seconds and everyone else with 200% and drop them into a mancannon. VIP goes into one teleporter enemies into the other. This takes more space however, in general I refer to these little creations as VIP sorters since that is simply what you do. Unfortunately, they commonly need to remain hidden which isn't always easy to do.
