Just recently, a map was posted on the casual map sub-forum titled Left 4 Dead. The user who posted the map showed some aggression in his posts after everyone told him the map was too open and said the map wasn't that good. His first post was this:

I tried to reason with the user and he continued with another negative comment. After that, I told him straightforward that he is not welcome in this community if he talks poorly of its users.

    The thread is here: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/casual-maps/44608-left-4-dead.html

What do you guys think of this situation?

The kid can't take constructive criticism. Forget about it. The internet is not the place for him. Possibly life.

I agree with you Norlinsky. If he can't take a little bit of criticism on his map and has to make an aggressive comment back then he should not post at all.

i posted on his orginal thread, and honestly im glad THIS thread was made because the first one was like a therapy session. lol!
but anyway, this kid is stubborn and its true, he CANNOT take any criticism at all. i just hope he calms down and doesnt quit forging.
but the quoted comment is a bit mean. shouldnt we try to help him? or are we wasting our time with him?

I'm glad he posted that. He gained some respect back from me for that post. I've had that before, stress that causes angry posting.

He was right. We don't care. He leaves and we go on with our lives.

What was the purpose of this thread? To make us notice someone we don't want to notice?

I remember that i had a hard time with some maps that i made. A lot of people said moar interlockingz. But on the bright side those people all got infractions! YAY! Anyway if you cant take the criticism here then I wish you luck other places. Bungie.net is usually the best place for a beginner to start and once they learn interlocking they move up to ForgeHub.

From what I read in that thread (note the shiny new infractions).... he had a right to complain about the worthless feedback he was getting.

to be honest, this thread is an abomination, and you, Master Debayter, should never post something like this again, nor should you EVER try and tell someone they need to leave this site.

Master, you acted very poorly in that thread, and justly received an infraction for it. You need to clean up your act.

    LOCKED. learn a lesson.
