So this might have been asked before, but... You know how we mysteriously can interlock, and the pieces just stay where they are. Or how we can geomerge and actually force something through the ground. As well as the infinite budget glitch, how that came about, how to make our maps even better with more money. Anyway, my question is do you think Bungie made this on purpose, and let us figure it out, or did they leak slowly from their core, Or even was it totally an unplanned set of events, and if so, why not take it out in the next update. (I'm not saying I want to;far from it) Discuss.... Answer...
I don't think any of them were intended. The not spawn at start thing might have lead some people to figure out you could interlock stuff at bungie, but if it was intended it would have been a lot easier. Geomerging I don't think they realized at all. I mean, the fact that doors can go into the ground a little is because they added so you could make them fit snugly in the doors of foundry. Which is basically geomerging them. They knew you could geomerge doors, but they didn't realize that it allowed you to geomerge other objects as well. The budget glitch was not intended because they don't put maps in matchmaking with it. And it is like overloading the map. There's many ways of doing it, but only one or two will be found and they realized that but didn't find any at the time. A lot of these things can't be fixed in updates. It's part of the game, not part of the networking or text and stuff like that. They can change certain stuff, but not that stuff.
hmmm i dont think it was supposed to happen but maybe they realized that everyone was able to make quite epic maps with these glitches thats why they did not decide to fix them but thats just what i THINK
Why would they remove them in a patch? It's a tool used in the game that (while not originally intended) has made the game better. There would be no logic to "fixing" it.
