A Public BETA in Comm Chatter?

Honestly, I don't understand what people have against this map. There are no framerate issues in splitscreen or single player. The map has no bumps or jagged edges or z-fighting. It also has great spawns and lots of tactical jumps. The fact that it's a simple design that's been done before (which isn't entirely true anyway) is irrelevant. It's a well-forged map and it's being tested extensively to optimize gameplay. In fact, it's been tested well over 50 times, which is more than every single community map that's been in matchmaking combined.

To me, it just seems like people are jealous. I understand that the map doesn't do anything dramatically innovative. Regardless, it's still a good map and when it gets into Matchmaking you can either vote for or against it. Or would you rather be spawn killed on Pinnacle and be dominated by the Jetpack on the other Community Slayer maps?

This map was built for the community, and there will be many others following it. Rather than fight against our fellow forgers, we should encourage each other to bring out the best maps that we can. Reach needs good maps, and if you don't like a map, you should try to make it better. It doesn't matter who made it--if it can get into Matchmaking, then try and help it be as best as it can be along the way.

 

That video just furthered my view that this map is garbage. Sorry, but yeah. It seems perfect for Matchmaking.

 

I think the map looks relatively solid tbh. It has some good rotational stuff goin on which I like. Very easy to familiarize yourself with the map. I feel like the tubes in the middle of the map are a little narrow though from first look.

EDIT: I do find is a little dumb that this map gets on Comm Chatter just cuz. There are plenty of great maps out there that will never see themselves shining any light on the halo world because the author doesn't have any great 'hook ups.'
