A new defence gametype - with pictures

    I've been spending the last couple of weeks creating a brand new gametype, with a few maps to go with it, the gametype being called 'covenant' and the maps being named, for instance, 'a ship', so together it would be 'covenant on a ship'. so far I have:

    the gametype (full testing not complete)
    an orbital map (needs adjusting to current changes in the gametype. so far, this one has had the best gameplay)
    a sandbox map (not particularly good- a broken bridge with a little bit of ghost merging on each end. needs more work, particularly on aesthetics)
    a ghost town map (made in 2 hours, not a good map AT ALL. will probably exclude this one from the final release)

    the general idea is your usual covenant VS marines fare, however with a few subtle differences- the covenant are faster and more powerful than the marines, and the marines are given very little ammo to survive on. the only way the marines can win is by using tactics- cover, and team fire. after a minute (except on ghost town, which is after 45 seconds), the covenant will be granted some more powerful weapons- a fuel rod, overshield, camo, sword, and needlers. (the needlers ARE power weapons. trust me.) the maps are tight, rather than the open air I have seen in other similar gametypes. I've worked hard to reduce spawn killing and camping, and hope that the final product will be worthy enough for you people at forge hub.

    any other details will remain hidden, for now, but I can tell you from testing, with up to 6 people, it's a lot of fun.

    any ideas are wanted, especially suggestions for maps and other features.

    im making something like this on orbital too. ive made an airlock at the upper base like the covenant are cutting through like in halo 2's cairo mission. there a group of ODST's/marines that need to fight their way out and down to a hangar where it will end and move on to the next map. (sort of like a story map pack)

    I've actually made plans for another map, which will be made after full testing of the gametype and the orbital map is complete. it's set in a forerunner relic, where there has been a huge landslide- the straight, precise edges of forerunner design coupled with rocks and stones covering the walls. it should be pretty interesting.
