You don't need any program. All you need to do is open up task manager, go to processes, end the process "iTunesHelper" and you can remove all the songs off the iPod/iPhone because after that process is ended the iPod is basically a flashdrive. Though I have noticed that sometimes if songs are named incorrectly you will lose the name (name and artist all together)
Ive done that, except all the files have no names and they are all in funky unorganized folders like F01, F02 etc
Yea I used to do this. You copy all the folders into a larger folder and then basicly use the windows search functions to find all the mps's in the folder archive. Copy and paste all from this screen. Only downside is that all songs get 4-letter names, and although the details are intact in iTunes, in other programs you can only work out a songs name through process of elimination of album name and track legnth.
