I have an Xbox and a PS3, and I used to own a Wii (I sold it after several years of not using it) I feel that the xbox is my most social console. The main reason why I play it the most is because it's online services are superior. If the xbox had an online service as bad as the PS3's, I would probably find my self playing almost solely PS3. The only exclusives that I play often are GoW and Halo, both of which are completely online. The PS3, on the other hand, has a stronger set of offline titles. Games like Little Big Planet (favorite game in a very long time) and Metal Gear Solid can fill large amounts of time with their single player, and LBP has many many hours of replayability.
heres a good one since PS3 has free live they will never get enough money to update or fix their live since xbox live is payed for by people microsoft can continue to make it better
PS3 is a technically better, it has better hardware. However, as far as I have heard the online is no-where near as fun as xbox 360 and the games tend to suck. I like to think of consoles like cars. PS3 is a expensive posh sort of car, tinted windows and all that. 360 is slightly cheaper, faster more fun car. (which breaks down alot) Edit: Just read nemi's post: I too think that ps3 controlers are horribly light, I like too be holding something solid. Also I think PS3 controlers are made of crappy shiny plastic (like the PS3 it's self) and as soon as your hands get slightly sweaty you get stuck to the controller.
Well I think they're both good consoles but to me the 360 is better. Blu-ray to me is crap. I really don't care for the slight difference between Blu-ray and regular DVD's. I guess if you're wealthy then you don't have much else to worry about then the simple things but anyways. So Blu-rays outta the picture for me. LIVE has a far more better community than PS3's. Not to mention that Sony copied the whole acheivment thing. Plus I just don't like the playstations controllers...They make my hands cramp.
