I'm glad they aren't wasting their time with it because it wouldn't be worth the effort since you'd join a lobby and get kicked for being a random, get griefed after you joined, or nothing but griefers will join.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - Headlong Becomes Breakneck - YouTube beauty. lotsa info here as well
Healong is now my new favourite map! Its huge, industrial and has a warthog! 1. Headlong 2. Timberland
That video of IGN is made up of different matches and thus different settings. The pistol will be bloomless if it's a 0% bloom gametype.
Source? Last I heard it was just 'late September.' Also, is it just me who can almost never view articles on Halo.Xbox.com? I get a server error about 90% of the time I try to load any of the articles, getting kind of annoying. EDIT: nevermind, it was defaulting to an 'en-gb' region in the URLs, changed my bookmark to 'en-us' manually and it seems to work now.
From that linked article, the updates coming just before the playlists, which are out October 4th. We wont see anything to do with the update UNTIL those beta hoppers, where we get to play gametypes and give feedback based on those settings, which they'll adjust continually up until November ?th, when the title update changes are finalized. This is just what I'm taking from that article and news before it.
Actually the article says that the TU will drop on the 21st of September, and there will be a taster gametype available for DL shortly afterward (timescale not specified, guessing a couple of days since it says it WON'T be available on the day). So we'll have something to do until the 4th of October.
I wouldn't mind a bit more responsive strafing, faster acceleration times, along with all of those other improvements.
You're supposed to sign out of xbox.com every time you log into waypoint. Apparently has something to do with cookies/cache. If I don't do that it'll yield a blank error or even log out for me via error code.
According to..,somewhere I can't remember where, you can install Reach onto your HDD and play the maps from CEA. According to the newest edition of Gamesmaster which I just bought, the game comes with a voucher with a code that allows you to download the CEA maps and play them off Reach. I'm doubting that it's both.
