Last night I had what I think is a good idea for a map- I forged it up real quick and played through a bit with a party of 7, and we had a blast.

The basic idea is this: two players are selected randomly to fight in a 1v1 deathmatch. It takes place in a small arena. The other players spawn in a room where they can choose a direction to go- this corresponds to 'voting' for a player. The two fighters are given a color (either red or blue), and the 'voters' choose who they think will win. After 25 in-game seconds, votes are 'locked in', and the fight begins. The crowd watches in wait, and a victor emerges. The victor then enters the area where people did not vote for him and slaughters his non-supporters.

    Scoring is as follows:

    Winning a fight, 1 point.
Surviving a round (choosing the winner), 1 point.
    Killing a non-supporter, 1 point.

I'm looking for feedback on the idea, mostly, and was wondering if anybody would be interested in playing a custom of this type.
