This is my newest map, 102 steps, named after how many steps are on each staircase total (my friend counted them lol) it was made by me, and my friend platinumcell. Survivors start inside the base and collect equipment to defend themselves, while zombies start at the bottom of the stairs and try to get atop to kill the survivors. Only one cache... Alpha Zombies are partially invisible and the survivors play like donkey kong. Randomly, Wire spools and barrels spawn, plus some other special items. After 60 sec.. a crate spawns and bounces down the stairs crushing anyone in its bouncing path, after 90 seconds, a forklift skews anyone not ducking, and after 150 seconds... any zombie on the stairs will litterally get trucked. Survivors also have 2 small platforms to the sides where they can drop soccer balls to slow them down and fusion coils. Now this MAY seem too overpowered, but actually it isnt. Humans and zombies are perfectly balanced. Zombies are 50% more resistant to damage than the humans, and sport energy swords, but are a little slow in movement speed. The humans have limited ammo shotguns, so they will run out quickly. Not only that, but for even more tension, humans cannot see zombies on their radar, only allies. We had sooooo much fun, they kept begging me to play over and over. Its a lot of fun, get at least 5 people in there. Zombie start is set to 25%, and humans don't get points for killing zombies unless they are last man standing. Re: 102 Steps- a zombie survival map *Caution: Alot of Screenshots* Hah, nice concept! Mixing Zombies with DK was NOT one I saw coming. =P It looks balanced, too, from the way you edited the gametype with ammo and invis and all. I'm impressed. I'll DL it for my next LAN party. =)
