thanks, but I am not interested in trying to chase anything down. Heck, I don't even really need this. I am just trying to create it because people in this thread and elsewhere are reporting that they can't get ahold of the people who supposedly have a working mode.
ExTerrestr1al, thanks for looking at it. A couple points to clear up: all scripted mini-games have to be on their own map. For example, my default maps have all base games, and then I have to create separate versions of my maps for Rocket Race, King of the Hill, and any other mini game I want to run. 1-Flag has been created in a sense, is round based, and teams swap per round in Splatter Flag by DARTH HUMAN. Initial spawns and respawns have fields that "tag" the offense team before they "enter the game" so they're able to pick up and score the flag. The defensive team does not pass through these fields and so cannot pick up the flag. There is a major problem in trying to use this gametype for regular 1-Flag: You cannot place respawns around the map as you would in a normal game, since any offense player respawning needs to pass through the barrier and if defensive players run through it they're marked to pick up the flag. Also, I'm not sure if the flag is scripted to return to home base on a timer and when defense players stand near it, as is standard for capture the flag games. But as I said, basically DARTH HUMAN has figured it out, and anyone wanting to problem solve this might be able to use the work he's done as a base. I've been in there for hours checking it out before, and it's complex as hell. Of course, I'm not fluent in scripting by any means, but WHOA!
