you need to have X11, its kinda an emulator in a way, but it isnt....
GIMP 2. first install X11 from online or use the Additional Installs on your Mac OS install cd, then go to gimp.org its almost as good as PS actually
most of my ideas end up as a horrible mess...thats probobly due to the idea that i have at minimum 10 forge ideas a week...usually somewhere...
the best you can get is Adobe Photoshop CS3, but i dont think its very noob friendly, in addition to being $700... id recommend GIMP 2. its free,...
