LOL thats awesome, its nice seeing athletes play halo online. I actually want to play (as in not sit in forge sessions) more halo because I've been destroying people since I got the monitor, so I'd be down for doing the playlist whenever you got on.

Unless they specifically say they're for the Xbox than you need a mixamp as it acts as an adaptor. It also improves sound quality and allows you to adjust communication volume and game volume. The $250 A40 system comes with a mixamp so its actually a good deal. It' d be a good gift, I didn't have anything really expensive either, so that works perfectly.

Wait aren't you going to have to buy an astro mixamp anyway for that to work?

Nice. I'm getting a40's for christmas (as much for playing drums with the noise cancelling feature so I don't go deaf as for playing games) as well as a wired controller and VGA cable.

It'll be nice though not having to deal with saying things three times because your mic was a piece of ****.
