I have an account on all these stock sites, sometimes though i'll just pick an image from google and do a blur overlay to hide the tiny imperfections.

Anyway, i'll do that. Had you told me this, my job would have been much easier. :P

I would prefer something not Halo related but i know you will do something good so i'll leave you to it.

Pick a screen that would show either a nice point in the map or something recognisable. I don't know which one.

If you want some ideas, i don't know if you could try and make something that ties in with the name.

Aperture in scientific terms is a small slit that allows light to pass through it.

Aperture in a camera is the same thing, the wider the slit, the more light defracts and you get a loss in focus, when you lots of the same thing faded in the background.

Perhaps something like that. Having the word behind it quite transparent giving the effect of loss of focus... just some ideas. anything will do.

Anything, but just want something simple to replace that crap i threw up there after a 5 minute job.
