oh, just noticed, be carefull were you place the shotgun and the invis, they seem close, even if one is on the bottom level, from what i can tell fromt the diagram.

that looks really complex for a symetrical map of that size, maybe it was the corners that were bent thats distorting my perception of it, but the layout looks absolutley great from what ive seen, and i can see where the power drain and regen balance was swingin it, it would focus battle on one perticular side. and ive already seen 1 picture of it in building stage, adn sort of know the back layout fence structure since i was there when you both started.

dont tell them that >.> theyll love the tree shape, the layout of it is genious. and yes i suppose a power drain would count......as...an.....armory....i.....guess.......perhaps. any interesting "tweests" to your map? like somekind of different weapon or equipment, like the fuel rod or radar jammer? (ok, maybe not the fuel rod,but you get the point)

reflex was shaped like a christmas tree. you have to look at it from a different angle, and itll come together. :P
but youve said you wont be having hood ornaments, so im sure therell be some kind of gift area at the base, like an armory maybe? armories bring good gameplay.

well whenever you post your supa awesome colored map layout of awesomeness that you always do, then place a christmas tree next to it and say "HAPPY HOLIDAYS! FROM YOUR GOOD FRIEND THESILENCEBROKEN" adn everyone will know. xmas trees get featured john, look at reflex for example.........

shaped rouhly like a christmas tree, are there any multi colored ornaments and a star on top? be careful, a map with all 4 of the powerups will be difficult to balance out...... but for the sake of aesthetics........

Actually its more like Mesa Verde with an layout more like this, but with bases and what not. The second link is a satelite picture showing the floor plan of houses at Mesa Verde

I've just begun the sketches of my next map (after Decime) called Pueblos. Named after the native American villages in New Mexico. It's a big map (for foundry) and a cross between Valhalla and Stand Off. With bases built into hills and caves that have buildings inside them like pueblos and hills and cliffs scattered through out for cover.

Have you checked out Clive yet? The pictures don't really do it justice, I'm glad they put a video on there cuz the pictures really turned me off the map.

I have a couple maps that I've played but havent posted on yet.

I wouldnt dare watch it with my parents, watching superbad with them was bad enough.

Yeah, I've been trying to do that too but because of the standard I set for myself on map posts it isnt easy.
