I first made the wall sectioning off the back rooms/hall. I then made the bridge tunnel which housed the overshield. From there, i was lost for hours.

Suddenly, i took a piece of paper, drew a square, and added in what i had. From then, i randomly drew, scribbled and redrew all the different sections of the map. I made a list of weapons i wanted to use, then placed them around the map. I then dissected the map piece by piece to figure out what to make each section out of, while conserving my supplies.

When i had completed it, Blaze helped test it with me, and he asked to try something. When i got it back, he had geomerged my fencewall ramp to the sniper, moved a few weapons around [shotgun and regen were swapped] and moved the camo to the top. The major thing Blaze did was the spiral staircase. It used to be a gravity lift to blow you up top. He hates them, so he thought of the spiral staircase since i had barely used my fencewalls.

i consider him to be the superior forger. however, i really really spend so much time thinking of how my layout flows. i draw it out several times, even placing weapons before ive even built it. i think of where they start, where they are likely to immediately head, and how many different routes are available.

if there arent enough routes or options, i reconstruct the layout to better fit the needs of players.

for example:

vertebraille was completely done before i made it, weapons and all, except when i started thinking about it, i knew it needed another way from base to base. i then realised the "sword spawn" [now needler spawn] was hollow underneith it, hence why i settled on a tunnel underground. the weapons remained entirely the same, except i swapped the plasma pistols out, and switched the sword for a needler. i also switched the camo and overshield for gameplay reasons.

this is why i dont make more. it drives me nuts.

nah, hes still makin them, and hes still using some innovative ideas, he just doesnt test em, and i think he just makes em to make em cause he pumps out so many ideas.

i on the other hand, make maps how i like them, and how i wanna play on em. [hence my use of certain weapons when most people wouldnt]

nah mate thats nonsense ad you know it. spam wuld be if i went around posting it on every map. thats bs to get reported for say i like a robot map. what else would you like me to say about a robot. "oh i want to make passionate love with that robot. its soo cool. the last pics is amazing. how tall would that robot be in real life? is it made of ral metal?" I mean come on were posting on a video game not sitting around having an intellectual conversation.
