I'd say that his best bet is to try and recover his gamertag on to another xbox. If you don't mind playing split screen he could recover it on to yours. Just remember that he HAS to use the gamertag he started with, not another one or a guest account.

Hiya, sorry I didn't get back to you and don't feel bad for asking, its fair enough and needs to be resolved in your mind.

You have done enough to warrant "sufficient effort" on your part as far as organising the match is concerned. If they do turn up and post back with a reasonable arrangement then the match will go ahead, if they post back unreasonably (eg. at the last minute expecting a game to be played on very short notice) then it will be considered unfair and the match will go to you.

If they don't post back or make contact at all then they forfeit outright and the match goes to you.

Glitch, concerning the oddball. It's still illegal, it isn't considered a play ball because it takes considerably longer for the ball to reset inside the map.
