This weekend SHOULD show some significant changes, and there's an event coming up soon, just debating on the last bit of it, really. I've already written the article. should be up within the week. I feel like we're sort of trying to start over. That might be a successful thing or not. It's too soon to tell. Still, things are getting done now, which is more than I can say for what was going on during Shock's absence.

Yeah, merging the forums was a stupid idea. If anything it's just made it worse with all the clutter that's present.

I'm really only visiting the forum because Dax is an Admin. If the site does succeed, I'll be giving all of the credit to him, not Overkill.

I'll stay on the site for curiosity's sake, but I probably won't be posting unless there are changes that I don't agree with.

From what I know he hasn't been threatening anyone as of late. It wouldn't surprise me if he was, though.

Agreed, that situation should have been handled better and was very much unwarranted (a thought expressed by the majority of those involved), but this growing pessimism toward recent changes that the community has been displaying under a veil of ignorance is no better. I'm not taking sides because, frankly, both parties' actions in the past few days have been very disappointing. It seems that everybody has resolved to fighting fire with fire and are, in turn, simply creating more fire. I can only stress that everybody be mature and handle the situation in an appropriate way despite how the other party may respond. Antagonizing one another in the shoutbox is far from an ideal method to do this.
