was one of our connections bugging out, or did you have to leave? From what you did play, what were your initial impressions about the weapon layout? I changed it up some after our game; supressor spawns where the frag grenades did to reposition it out of that room that it seemed to rape in during previous games, removed the frags, moved the carbine to where the supressor previously spawned (players seem to naturally move there after grabbing either power weapon, so I figured it didn't need a strong deterrent), placed a plasma pistol where the carbine previously spawned, bumped the Railgun timer to 90s, and set everything to not spawn at the start except the Speed Boost, the carbine, and the plasma pistol. I also redid the initial spawn and some bad respawns. Thanks for playin' it with meh.

Yo, bring up the TG issue in this thread. TZ tends to keep up with it and fix the immediate problems.

Spin, I promise I will not ever compare my map to anyone else's every again on any level or for any intent or example. It simply cannot be done I guess without offending someone. But your reaction was pretty dramatic and ultimately helped getting the thread closed. Every negative person in that thread completely disregarded the main point and just adding off-topic blows at one another.

My post introduced a more in-depth discussion on making forging better for everyone and ultimately coming to a solution about the noise issue. You simply took it very childishly in my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with what I did. Guys like you get offended over little things because you cloud your mind with negative thoughts. You probably didn't even read the post completely. The first thing that came to your head was I was self-advertising and saying how much better it was than others. Then you ran to Nooooch and "told on me." Creating a bunch of misguided and unnecessary drama.

Even everyone in the thread disagreed with you b/c they understood my intent. I even started out by saying I knew people would take this the wrong way (my first thought was you actually) and stated how much of an epic map Serum was. The posts were not about who had a better map. There was no advertising. It was simply two examples of well forged maps (one having many aesthetics and one having really none) for comparsion on the noise topic at hand. Want don't you get? You were the rude one here and is the prime example of the crap that goes on here.

Advertising. Nope No links were posted, sorry. My map came up b/c Pyro said aesthetics could not be added to a map without framerate drop. So I showed him that it can be done. How is that advertising. Then the discussion moved onto aesthetics add to much noise. So I chose a map (serum) that had really no added aesthetics but still had a lot of noise from the crappy texturing done by forge.

So yeap, my only intention here was to advertise mine and dis on nooooch's.

This attitude is what is wrong with FH. I will delete my map if you really want me to if that will make it clear. I could care less how many views I get. Serum is a great map. But your guys' mindsets are ****ing sad.

You guys are simply looking at this like I chose your friends' map and said it was bad. That's really sad that you guys are this short-minded. I chose Serum because it has a very clean layout but cannot escape the flawed textures (that is no fault of nooooch's). I used my map in comparsion b/c that is what we were originally talking about, HELLO! So I had to pick a great map to bring up Green's points and how his points would even consider Serum a bad map (in which he agreed). But by all means, take this completely the wrong way and just think I attacking you guys. w/e

That was used in regards to the topic at hand. His map layout is better than mine. I never said Curb Stomp > Serum. They are completely different maps in regards of layout and theme. I chose serum because it is a very good map but still cannot escape the ugliness of the textured blocks themselves. That point was made. Thanks for ignoring the main point and trying to make me look like an ass, again.

Haha wow. He's pretty petty in my opinion. Using my map as an example of bad aethetics is fine, but he's just arrogant when he uses his own map as an example of GOOD aethetics.
