Was there any specific reason you didn't mention the free DLC? (either that or I'm deaf) 343 has already confirmed that you can keep the maps for good, no penalty, through twitter.

Awesome man! Just make sure that you express yourself in an intelligent and put-together way, and you should have no reason to worry about it. If you do get infracted for speaking your mind in a mature fashion, I will do my best to fix the situation :)

It's always been like that, though. Change is scary when you're the one who needs to pull the trigger, I've been there plenty and understand that, and I'm trying to show how important it is that they understand it too in a..."sober" way (for lack of a better word).

Hopefully the right decisions are made though, it seems as though enough people are showing their discontent to make them at least be seriously considering the options (I would hope -- I'm not in the staff board and for all I know, they just ignore it).

Haha, ah yes the grimy underbelly of the power of "infractions"... it's always bothered me -- something to be fixed at some point around here, I hope.

And yeah I know they are ;) it's funny the way these things work. Hopefully we'll see some changes coming around here, but the idea of change doesn't come easy to those currently in control

I think everyone really has to speak up and show how important it is that we get this community rolling again. I've held back for a long time for the same essential reason - I didn't want to come across as some "power-seeking" guy looking to come back to community managing when it's "convenient" for me. I just really want to see this site succeed, its still my baby regardless of if I'm admining it or not. I appreciate the support though! I'd love to come back, but in the end the important thing is supporting the site, not me :)

So, don't hold back, let people know how you feel. Passion is important -- if you're passionate, think about how to word what you feel and then let everyone know, don't just let it slide... and I mean that in life, not just for this website ;)
