Initial ordnance is for noobs that need to see where the power weps are instead of just learning the map. Random ordnance is just that: random. Can lead to super unbalanced 1v1/2v2 games. Thruster = useless. Halo 4 already has quicker normal speed and higher jumping, no need to make Usain Bolt spartans. Carbine is the exact opposite of OP so there's no downside to having it. And Dax is the coolest name ever.

And then 5 second respawn, which isn't really inportant because I can't find an option to remove the instant respawn >:(

I'm all about transparency about most things.
There's some stuff that I feel should be kept under wraps in early discussion and development stages, but other than that I really wish I could talk about these things. I feel like the community could have some potentially good feedback on certain things.

I actually just implemented a community driven tactics board for competitive maps. I'll be interested in seeing what direction that takes.

However, do not mistake physical growth for communal growth. That's like saying age equate to maturity. They're vastly different and it has never been the physical growth of the site we've been concerned with.

I'll be the first to admit that this site hasn't gone in the proper directions for community growth for a while. A lot of that is the fault of the leadership where we could pick up slack, but the point I've been trying to get across is that it's partially the fault of what I consider the incumbent community that seems discontent with how the way things currently are but totally unwilling to accept change of any kind.
