I just said you probably don't dislike it *relying* on them because it doesn't rely on them so its impossible to dislike it for that. I don't know why you felt like I was correcting your opinion anyway. First its impossible to "correct an opinion" because opinions are subjective, and secondly, if someone did correct you on something like saying that Meltdown relies on teleporters and gravity lifts (that I did correct you on), its not a big deal, even if they're wrong. Being corrected is only a big deal to people more interested in protecting their reputation than just talking with someone or some other people to find out what's right or the best or whatever. Don't worry so much about stuff, I wasn't trying to correct you on anything, just talking, and you're entitled to your opinion. If you're worried about your reputation I can say something good about one of your posts if you will feel better lol.

Regardless of if a question is asked it's always common courtesy to direct a new user to places on the site that may be of use.
That literally NEVER happens unless its a staff member.
I'd really just like to see our community more open to accepting new members. Maybe then we'd actually see our community grow, ya know?

The problem with the way everyone has been acting in the intro threads can cause a very negative first impression for new members.
Kidding or not, how would you feel if someone pointed out their opinion of you based on a predisposition or stereotype?

In the future though I'd like comments in the intro threads to be actually helpful to a new member and a lot less stupidity which seems to be all they're comprised of anymore.
