I was actually pretty good at that... at one point I got a message off Tz saying the mods should take a page out of my book for the way I handled situations. I can easily diffuse a situation and make it so the person learns from their mistakes, without having a massive uproar about it........ front page material on the other hand; well, you know what happens there ;)

Mmm, my time has passed now. I'd be happy to help keep the forums tidy with moderation and stuff, but I'm not so keen on being someone so associated with the runnings so to speak... if that makes sense? Like a hidden mod or something... someone who helps keep the site clean, but doesn't get involved in the runnings and such. I have a too different view on how things should go for me to effectively work on the staff, and I'm pretty sure it was demonstrated both times I was a journalist.
With that said, I've also had a pretty good community backing from the guys because they know I'm lenient in terms of punishment, but I know when someone needs the strict end and what not... and I'm always around :P

Well, he sent me a pretty bad PM with that as his main point... but once I actually told him it wasn't a dig at any staff members, or the staff in particular, he actually participated in the discussion to an extent. It's a shame really, I just want this place to be a community again :(

Yeah, there's one in the hub pub at the moment where a few people have tried to say this is what we think should bridge the gap and it's not going anywhere now. It just turned into a discussion between me, Tedium and Insane54 and we got little interaction from staff members. Albeit, Reflex lon gave his two cents.

I know where you're coming from... it's a shame really. I used to love forge hub a lot, and it appears to be dying as a community now. There's too much of a divide between staff and members.
