For months I wandered the Internet, chasing the memory of a show grown old. I watched the seasons again, and again, but each time it brought me less joy.

I found artwork - this kept me satisfied for a time. But even then, I couldn't escape the fact that none of it mattered. None of it was canon.

But the winds of change have blown in our favor. The Hub has given us a taste of the world we once knew. Those tired worlds await renewal. The tales have been spun. Our lost joys could once more be ignited, soaring above all expectations and flaring spectacularly in a magnificent conflagration which burns through our eyes with the passion of five months grown fonder. Now, my friend, the joyous pastures of Equestria have emerged with new stories, better animation, established plots and terrible threats. Need you wait twelve more days? Nay. You need only click the link, and those lost memories will be yours.

It's hard, isn't it? I know. I've been there. I am just like you, you know? Brought into this fandom with wonder in my eyes. It seemed like it would last forever, this crazy show that took my heart. Its novelty drew me, its forbidden fruit tempting me into its embrace. I was happy then. We both were.

But the time came, when a mare was called off to her brother's side: it all stopped. No more, could I relish the animation, for it grew repetitive. No more did the stories hold me, for I knew their outcome. No more could I find solace in the promise of a new adventure, friends and tales just waiting at my trembling fingertips. For the show, it was the end.
