3. The bottom of the map is essentially a death pit, and intentionally made to be so. When designing for Smackdown, I realized that maps needed to have areas where you can corner your opponent, without it being an impediment to flow. I decided to make my corner the middle of the map. The bottom is still a viable route in a few instances, but those are rare. The health pack is just a little extra boost for anyone brave enough to go down there.

4. There are two places that your opponent can spawn after you kill them while you're standing on the platform that connects to the custom; either sniper spawn or the plasma pistol spawn. I wanted people to be punished if they wasted any time in getting to the custom after killing their opponent (And when people rush on that skinny little slanted pillar, they're far more likely to fall off, which is exactly what I wanted to happen >:]).

1. It does put a lot of emphasis on sniping. I tried mixing up the weaponset, but nothing seemed to act as a decent counter to the sniper given the map's geometry, so I decided to just make it sniper-loving map.

2. Thanks <3. I focus far too much on aesthetics sometimes, though I think it payed off on Cerity. I wanted something with a strict, unique theme that hasn't been seen in Reach yet, which was kinda hard since we'd already been through a year and a half of Reach when I was working on it.

The custom is supposed to be harder to see, that's what is necessary for player to give up their height advantage to get the custom. It's also not supposed to get a lot of flow. That's the idea. It's too small of an area to get flow anyway, so that's not really a problem.

As for the spiker room, I can't see how that's awkward, but alright.

This is mainly a trial to see if the changes I made worked. Either way, it doesn't matter, the map still plays nicely without the changes.
