Are you saying that H3 BR > Reach DMR? If so then I must respectfully but strongly disagree.
      ----------
      You always disagree.

      You troll, you.

Oh no, I'm not saying the RoF in the DMR is bad, I think they did it just right. But those damn expanding lines that expand when you're shooting distract me too much.

I guess we'll all be situated once we actually get some customs in place, I wouldn't mind hosting a few TGIFs with just stripped down gametypes for the competitive enthusiast.

I just find the RoF a bit more manageable compared to the DMR, along with that whole minute bloom that the DMR has. It isn't much, but it's a hinder for sure.

Curious to see what they did with the Concussion Rifle. I enjoyed that gun quite a bit, but maybe would've found it to be more balanced if the splash damage wasn't so great.

After watching further footage of the light rifle or whatever its called, I'd put that over the DMR.

      Thank you and noted.

My skills: I suck all around, except at making sticky grenade trick shots.

Most likely my first 2 matches will be forfeits, and by looking at the bracket, you're probably the one that I will 1v1 for real. Knowing that I suck bullocks, I would like to know info about you're playing style so I can get at least 1 kill.

I bought Dell WLED monitors if you are thinking about those too. Reduced from about 150 to 100, which is a great price for a 1920 21" screen with 10ms response time and great whites. So good i bought another.

650w should cover any high performance single gpu system, and when it comes to cpu, i'm not sure whether ivybridge requires an even more updates mobo than sandybridge chips, but if it doesn't then you need a p67 motherboard. The prices are pretty fixed at about £100 so there isn't really a saving to be made, however some offer more usb3.0 ports, or more 2.0 ones etc.

Also grabbing a cheap case that comes with fans can net you a saving, I paid like £35 for metal case with HD trays, 3 fans and controller. I believe i bought a micro atx motherboard too, but this case is still medium size. I'm considering rehousing it one day into something smaller with better noise cancellation.

yeah ofcourse, there are many aspects of a pc that can be shaved for price. Have a look at their bundles and see if anything fits your needs, and then compare it with hand-picked items from the sale. I refined my options a lot in keeping with the sales and it paid off by improving the choices i made in every respect without adding anything to the price (higher frequency ram, higher speed HD, two half price monitors etc).

If you have a 10gb memory stick you could use it to install windows, removing the need of a disc drive if you feel like me that it's antiquity.

Btw, just writing you here. Trying to avoid derailing the thread further.

Fair enough. I'd start the thread off, but I don't want to step on any shoes and figure it'd look best if a staffer started it instead. I haven't seen the latest version of the map still, but there were most certainly "wrap arounds" in the original. Noooch's use of the phrase though might not match chrs's definition of it, but I think Noooch's explanation of what hurts the map was fairly accurate.

Fancy getting some testing in later tonight? Thought we could run through all the maps together.

I'd love to, it's just where do I dive from? Where into? What method should I use for myself that not only develops skills for future use, but also may be noticed? Stupid school and stupid job, need more time. That or no sleep, I'll start trying no sleep. Just so hard to stay motivated at times with so many distractions, but I have a creative voice and it demands to be heard, but so many ideas too, it's infuriating to jump from lily pad to lily pad and see the ripples ebb out in the great ocean of potential and see larger pads off in the distance which will make waves not ripples and to sit there and see it all and have no idea how to make it happen. This week I'm going over to a friend's house with some time off and I'm going to make a sprite sheet hopefully and a background for a simple action shooter. See how it goes.
