hmm.. What do you think of the idea of a bottom mid? with ramps coming down from the atrium next to the ones going up to the rocket hall (which will become top mid)? If I do that, I'd move rockets to bottom mid and add some kind of connection to the receiver areas.
The red base is about done at this point. Thanks for the Forgehub help. :P I'm going to make blue base now, and probably finish the other sides tomorrow... my school starts the day after that :P Also, if you want to test maps in the tester's guild, don't hesitate to invite me. I would join, but I don't have enough time to do all that hoopla and requirements.. Also, thanks for all the help with this map. You've helped so much on this map it's practically a co-forge :P If you want to, we could make it an actual coforge.. Maybe submit it to Flag Reset. And it needs a name :P I have no idea yet.
The issue I'm having is getting the sender out of the view of a flag runner who goes down either side and still not having it too close to rocket hall LoS. I may block off those extra connections I added to force players who go through the receiver into the bottom of one of the neutral atrium-ish things. That way, people trying to stop the flag don't have to follow the flagholder through the receiver.. I'll start forging it, but my school starts up again in the next few days, so it's going to be slow going. :P lol
Here's the updated version. I only did one side because you only need one side to get the point and I've already spent too much time on the computer today. I moved the sniper further away to give that area more traffic, and I reversed the teleporter orientation to give the other area more traffic. Is the sender too close to the flag spawn? And seeing as that new red colored area is rather weak, I'm thinking of adding something there as an incentive. Probably not a power weapon. Maybe some grenades or a spiker. [spoiler][IMG][/spoiler]
Hm... now it's resized. Did you resize it or is my computer just wacky? EDIT: this sketchup version is going to take a while... I messed up some of the heights by less than .001 inches... so it doesn't tell me which ones :(((((

Not trying to be a douche, but could you resize the sketch? :P It doesn't auto-resize when it's in a spoiler. I will probably put in that route you mentioned, change those side rooms some (no one would go into the center except through the receiver) and I was also thinking of making another route from where your route started to the opposite side. Is the map too small? I feel like a team could use the rockets for an easy flag cap... Just run up, kill them with rockets, (or some of them) and run over to the sender. Or is that just the rockets?
[spoiler][IMG][/spoiler] Here you go. Pink is flag spawns, the purple/blue are the one ways, those dots off to the side by the bases are sniperz and the one in the middle is probably going to be rockets. Still not sure about that.
By the way, do you want the sketchup file? I've attempted to make it inverse symmetrical. Let me know if you want to see the sketch. Also, what's the deal with that map yellow said he made? Not exactly sure what happened there...
Wow, that's pretty immature of him. I'd be pissed if I were you man. I would at least say something in the preview thread about it. But it's your call! Even though I want to, I won't get into it :P
Whoops, I posted in my own board again. I'll copy what I wrote into here. EDIT: Here. Do you mean in forge or in sketchup? I'm fine with it either way, though. I get the teleporter now :) Also, wasn't there an MLG map with a teleporter from each side of the map to the center? And if I recall right, wasn't it point symmetrical too? The name's on the tip of my tongue, but I just can't remember..... That being said, I'm going to work on it now :) two ideas are better than one. :))
