With all that said, I really do think you should attempt to make this an inverse symmetrical. If not, you may want to redesign health pack spawn and that whole little stretch there. You may also want to add more connections as more are necessary for objective games.

I'm also kinda iffy about moving it up because there's supposed to be a gravity lift as a flank path for the left side quite close.. I don't want sword-base-esque slaughters as inexperienced players repeatedly come up the yellow lift and die.. Although moving the lift elsewhere / adding a new path around the outside is an option too.

The gravity lift is not a good method of flanking because it makes a ton of noise, so players will instantly know where you're coming from. Now, the problem is that players are going to be more inclined to go down the left side if the flag is in the location I'm suggesting. What you could do is add a teleporter a bottom red that leads to a reciever at the back of sniper spawn as a flanking route. That's just a spur of the moment suggestion however and would be awkward because of the map's symmetricality. [cough]You could always make it an inverse symmetrical though.[/cough]

Ah. My intention was to have the flag close enough to that staircase that players couldn't shoot down the flag carrier (and/or teammates) before he reached the flag. Although that was wrecked by my last move.. :P

I'm suggesting that you move it for that very reason. The base is already enclosed, so a player could grab the flag and immediately cut a corner to avoid enemy fire while his buddies provide some extra support. Having that added stretch for them to travel puts more risk in and makes it a little more difficult to escape with the flag. In a two-flag game, no team is going to camp their base as it won't do them any good, so you don't have to worry about that as much as you are.

Players would camp high ground anyway given the flag is in their line of sight from that position. The reason I say to move it is because it's in an awkward spot right in front of the staircase and I imagine the path to the left would be used much more as it could be more quickly accessed after retrieving the flag.

Who doesn't have Skyrim?

I would say it's worth it. I used to play it for Sega Genesis, so there's some nostalgia, but it's also an incredibly solid fighting game. I rate it a 9/10.
