Chrome **** peg, c'mon, been waitin'. DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING...hanging...hanger...your mouth is like a hanger with those teeth you silly brit. Call me! For reals though, how ya been? What are you up too?
You make good points on the Apple issue, really explain how I feel very well. Would you mind if I copy pasta'd that into discussions I have about it in the future? It's kinda inevitable being a Mac fan amongst computer nerds :p
Ha My man, I'm getting back on skype these days, University starting soon, good to talk to an experienced man.
Lol, well yes just keeping conversation PG. Though, I do have a license for my old defunct laptop. Do you know if there would be any way I could transfer it? As for stock recovery..you mean my SII right? I can't see why I shouldn't be able to is it up volume, home and power? I'm currently running GB 2.3.3, haven't done anything to it. It was factory reset before I had it but I don't believe anything was done to it before then either. Any help would greatly appreciated I've been pulling out my hair lol.
Well without Windows, Odin doesn't work which it seems everyone with S2's only runs macs so no guides at all are written for Heimdall, which sketches me out a bit. I could wine bottle Odin, but I don't trust it to be stable enough and if it crashed while flashing I'd be screwed :( On top of that, Kies loses connection to my phone whenever it begins download mode so it can't do a legit update to ICS, which I was gonna do so I could busybox method but I can't seem to get that to work. So then I attempted to do superoneclick to root on GB, but even getting it running through mono says it can't detect my firmware and then does nothing after I confirm it's above 2.0. Frustrating lol, so much trouble I might have to just find myself a windows 7 license and run a partition.
Hey peg, do you have a PC or strictly Mac? I feel I remember you having a Mac. I'm having hella difficulties with android/mac combo lol
That sounds perfectly reasonable. There's just been so many disagreements that have been blown far out of proportion on this site. I seem to have misinterpreted your tone, just as I accused you of doing. I just think we need a bit more in the way of friendly discussion in lieu of arguing around here, and it looks like we're on the same page with that anyway. No worries then, cheers.
Fair enough. As I said though, I thought your entire point up until then was spot on. However, it is very easy to interpret cynical posts as having a heated tone. Especially when the mental tone you're reading the post in anyway is one of disagreement. I've been guilty of it before...
Thanks for considering the post. I don't really mind not finding out if those graphs were wrong or right; the game as I know it hasn't changed since I read (or didn't understand) it, so it's not something worth getting to the bottom of. I just wish that I could trust people on those 343 forums to make simple coherent points; I'll never be able to use any concensus of those posts to teach me about something like this.
http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-general-discussion/139446-aim-acceleration.html Hey Pegasi, I had a question about a popular 343 forums thread on aim acceleration. I knew that you were knowledgable about aim acceleration, and that if anyone could answer that question, it would be you, although you may have seen it. Thanks.
Completely agree :) It really is exciting. The potential that this thing could boom and become extremely well supported isn't out of the question. I don't know man, we could be seeing a big turn in the gaming industry soon
