Here is an overview of Rat Race. I probably played this map 20 times, and I could never get the layout.

But I really like it and having a map like this ship with H4 would be awesome.

We were talking about 1 tier maps, and Rat Race plays like a 1 tier map. The only time you are having a significant z axis battle, is when you are transitioning rooms, or fighting through the drop down holes.

Lol, I was reading two people arguing about the name, and the guy who was wrong got into my head. Now go remake it.

Powerstation...28 I believe? It's a circle with a dead end attached, lol. Just search for some others. I'm sure you could find some.

The idea is that it's much easier to focus on a map tier by tier, than it is to design an entire atrium/room and try to connect the separate tiers.

Look at Canned Meat! Look at it! See how both tiers appear in every room? That's when this method is most useful. Who knows, the guy who designed it may have taken this approach.

For starters, would try 90 degrees only to further emphasize simplicity. Don't you want a map that wouldn't be a ***** to forge? You need to simplify your maps.

Hell, remake Canned Meat and it will be our secret...
