I mean, like, do you want to forge badly? You need that drive, if you really want to finish a map.

You know what you should do? You should look at some maps by some of the good forgers on here and see what they do. Don't give up, though. I'd be happy to help you out, if you want.

I haven't used a PC for years and was never good about knowing what specs were better than others aside from "oh that's a bigger number" so I'll do you no good.

That being said, you should always update your drivers and reformat your computer every few months to keep it running quickly.

I don't normally do anything like this, so it worked out lol.

Unfortunately, I didn't realize I couldn't cap certain films without the map packs. As I only have the first map pack, I cannot get the ones from High Noon and Penance (which amounted to 5 films).

I have everything else capped and about to upload though.

What I told you about the "waiting 1-2 seconds" does that explain why the video is slow in the beginning?

I'll cap them after I'm done eating lunch. I used the Hauppauge HD PVR.

As for the video pausing, I deliberately waited 1-2 seconds before pressing play on the clip when I recorded so that you'd have some leeway when you edited it. Also a few seconds after the clip ended as well for the same reason.
