lol. oh well.

I was going to write an F201 on mini-games that wasn't really "this is how you make original stuff" but more like "look at all my failed **** and this is what I learned from it" but I never got around to it.

Do you really expect me to be specific if I worded it that way?

Also, I hadn't worked on an infection map in months when I wrote the majority of the guide.

This was looooong before anything was ever released with that, and was designed in a way that nobody ever came close to trying.

And yeah, I spent about 100 hours tweaking and building the Foundry version, then another 50-100 on the subsequent Sandbox one which I thought would work, but that glitched out too.

Seriously, I had to rebuild it over and over because I thought it'd work one way, wouldn't, rebuilt it to get around that problem, ran into another one. etc etc

Vertical conquest. Game where you killed yourself to get points against a juggernaut (released but with a MASSIVE game breaking glitch that an asshole exploited, told everyone about but me, making it a huge failure) and a "journey" infection map.

All in Halo 3, ****ed due to glitches in forge and customs. Latter two had iterations in Halo 3 but mainly because of the lack of movable objects, they were not releaed.

I am willing to bet they have something up their sleeve to make us **** ourselves, but chances are that the shock will wear off, and we'll just ***** about how it could've been better.

I'm not going to hope for extras on forge, so that whatever we get will be sufficient to please me. I just want what we had, without the flaws.

Anything extra is "wow factor".

Even if the entire game isn't perfect, they basically fixed what I hated about reach, so I can be content living on it again. I just HOPE the game is perfect.

My excitement quickly dissolved into boredom. Luckily, Halo 4 looks more incredible than I had hoped.

"Yeah Leon!... YEAH ZOMBIES!.... YEAH DARK AND CREEPY!!.... WHAT THE **** IS HE ROUNDHOUSING EVERYTHING FOR?! WHY IS HE RUNNING FROM A MILLION EXPLODING CARS!? ****ING REALLY? THE HELICOPTER SCENE? **** THIS MICHAEL BAY ****. IT'S JUST LIKE 5".

Yeah I heard about that after the fact. Guess the version I saw was the best, but I wasn't impressed.

I really, really didn't like the one version I saw, which was The Final Cut. I wanted to see it because it was as close to Ridley Scott's original vision as you can get (since footage was lost), but it was boring as hell imo.

I've been meaning to watch the theatrical version though.

Oh I like to have my fun every once in a while. Don't worry, I realised that letting him get to me is a bad idea, but sometimes the most fun can be had by letting someone get themselves all riled up then dropping the argument. I appreciate the sentiment, though :)

I thought it looked like Avatar, but I wasn't sure. I'd cream my jeans if it were a Portal anime. I am disappoint.
