You may know something that's been plaguing me. Is there any difference in the SoIaF books A Dance With Dragons, and the two part books, 'Dreams and Dust' and 'After the Feast'? I've tried looking up whether there's any difference in the two but all I can find is that the two parts page numbers sum up to more than the single book version, which I believe would probably be due to the appendices in the back.
Retook my proper place on the trials leaderboards in front of you for most tracks, will do the rest tomorrow.
Added. Note: I use skype almost primarily for video chatting. I'm not online for text chatting very often. Like at all. =P
I think it's hilarious that these idiots think Halo 4 is going to have "stopping power" and "juggernaut' or something.
where did you read that deep oceans are sparse of life? The seas have far greater diversity than land, and we have a far greater understanding of how rich this diversity actually is. The only thing you can talk about is energy. We know that very little light reaches these regions. Roughly one photon per square meter per hour. But creatures manage to live from photosynthesis from this light, and far more live because of geothermal vents that are innumerous.
[IMG] Getting there.. just extracting as much info from the plan as i can into surfaces. Had one or two issues already. I've been trying to snap vertexes of different surfaces so that everything goes to the same corners/boundaries, i've just been using the 'snap to point' toggle, but i'm wondering if there is a better way because so far i've got 2 edges that i can't line up for some reason.
Alright alright, cool. I'll check that out! I do have a .edu email, hopefully they accept my school. And yeah, that's how it was with other programs I've taught myself, it just takes patience. I'll give it a go--I've heard maya is great. Thanks for the heads-up here. :)
Like blender or cinema 4d? I have verrrry limited knowledge of 3d programs, although I really want to learn them. I know a teensy tiny bit of 3d scripting in apophysis though. =P
