I read somewhere that H4 will be utilizing the hitscan in Reach, I'll take that.

But, like you, I really am hoping they do go back to the previous titles movement speed/acceleration.

I'm not too worried about the perks/AAs or whatever, I just won't play those customs or enter those matchmaking playlist that retain those options.

BR + Hitscan + improved movement + H3's grenades + good arena maps = Me getting back into MLG.

I also kinda miss the clan system back in H2. I think if they improved upon that in H4, maybe bring introduce a stat tracking system for your clan, this will help retain the competitive guys.

How can anyone, even with infinite optimism, see a way in which gameplay-affecting-customisation and an even playing field can coexist?

If you still don't see how asking "How can a thing have two mutually exclusive traits" is a redundant argument then we've got a long way to go, baby.

The logical basis for concern being your "guesstimates?"

Where'd you learn that, loaded questions 101?

Yeah, I figured! I actually read all of that long post of yours and I think that was about as close as I've seen you to just throwing up your hands in despair...

Hey, I want to send you a recap, but I have no PM space to do so with.

Can I get it to you through skype, or email, or what?

Dude, I have this feeling that H4 is going to be pretty lame.

I agree with you on Halo 2, if it wasn't for all the exploits it would have been the perfect halo game.

It's hard for me to fully express why I enjoy no bloom but my best attempt would be to point out it's reliability and imo the much improved kill times.

I don't actually remember saying that MLG hated Reach, all I said was that their current settings are closer to Halo 3.

Obviously they had sub par xboxs and needed to upgrade to a better model ;)

Hey, just letting you know that my recap is in two parts... It wouldn't fit the 5250 character limit so I had to send the end seperately

And yet it is the US that has been leading the way for more than a decade in this field. You can thank the new paradigm of genetic modification to mostly private funded research grants at Stanford and MIT. From what i've heard their research sites act like a community; leading neurologists across the road from geneticists for example. The localization acts as a catalyst of all of these exciting new discoveries.

They are the reason for the technological boom. They are pushing the limits of computing faster than it is being developed. This group now represents the largest investment into computing power as well as being responsible for the largest amount of public data on Earth, the genome project. They are essentially Intels primary customer now. They are the reason why processors today that wipe the floor of previous years.

Although i know Cambridge is in the process of building a new medical faculty. I'm very curious to find out what kind of courses it plans on specializing in.

Well when i said drop the monarchy, i just mean the assertation of those two powers. A title over the armed forces doesn't really bother me, because mad as Charles is, he's not going to be starting any wars. So in that respect the real power is within parliament, where it should be for better or worse.

The title of head of the church is what i don't to be putting up with any more. Religious groups are correct in saying that all of their force/substance is in their communities. That is why this dismantlement of church and state would never cause harm or neglect to the faithful. In fact there are many examples (US obviously, but what about Kurdistan?) where this bolsters and strengthens communities.

And most people in this field would say that we would have been a few years ahead if the moral question of stem cells had not completely shut down government funding in that sector, forcing scientists to backtrack years of data and start with completely different cells. Ultimately the same thing has been achieved, by creating stem cells from something else. You may disagree with me, but i honestly don't think it will be long before some scientific development in this field pushes the boundary and the 'moral compass' of the church of england has to step in, and rally mass opinion against scientific enlightenment.

      very well put,

when i brought up the future it was paying particular attention to visiting outer space, as well as rapid advances in biotechnology that fuels the race for technological advancement in todays society. We live in a world today when we can say that we are advancing faster than exponentials physically allow us to, and i think that is a pretty inspiring statement for the wonder that is yet to come.

Continued research into genetics looks like it's going to solve all of the problems we can think of. Health, nutrition, resources, recycling, industrial materials, augmentation.. the things i've seen in development is truly mind blowing. Nature is truly the most wonderful spectacle. But the fact remains that it's only a matter of time before tension ensues between religion and this continued progress, undoubtedly on the grounds of 'moral' breach. Then who's side would you be on?
