What is your goal here? You seem to be trying to evoke some kind of phenomenon.

(2 of 2) Of the two options I personally prefer removing it, but that is mainly due to my distaste for shirts with a front and back design as opposed to those with either front or back. One solution could be to move the "ZM" (or whole phrase) to the front of the shirt underneath the muffin. But even considering that, I personally would prefer no text at all. Simplicity is greatly desired in any form of design in today's world.

Also, what's the tag lead to? You wouldn't actually have that on the shirt would you? My iPhone doesn't work with the whole tag thing, kind of strange, I don't know why it doesn't, but it never has. If that is part of your shirt, I strongly suggest you remove it. Or maybe, if for some reason you do wish to include it, put it on the back, centered near the neck or something. Currently, it's just an eyesore as part of the design. Mainly due to placement.

(1 of 2) I personally don't think the ZM is appropriate for the design, as it implies that the people purchasing the shirt already know what it stands for. Removing myself from the situation, I would assume that this would be some sort of group, or something of the like. And while the conclusion about what the "ZM" actually stands for isn't a difficult one to bring about, due to the actual design, I believe that simply including the whole of both words, or none at all would be much more effective. Including it would explicitly provide what the character is, while removing it would implicitly allow the audience to use their imagination.

That's how I felt when I entered a contest a few years ago. Such is life though. The rich get richer, the famous become more famous.

Well, then you have nothing to worry about. They're not going to take submissions at the beginning more seriously than ones at the end. I'm sure there will be a bunch of entrants that don't submit until the last day.
