I had spent a long time trying to decide which album I like best MMLP or TES. I listened to both albums, rated each track by track, and analyzed delivery, flow, rhyme, content, wordplay, etc.

But I read a great review of both albums, and it ends with this: "TES is a trip through Eminem's life, but MMLP is a trip into Eminem's mind.

BME was straight rapid fire rapping with lots of unique rhymes, but it had no content for the most part and the punchlines were sort of weak.

Out of BME, I would say: Take From Me, Welcome 2 Hell, Above the Law, The Reunion, and A Kiss

I appreciated the songs you listed below after visiting rapgenius.com and reading the lyrics. On rapgenius, members try to explain what a line means like the Mike Myers line from Almost Famous. And I bet you didn't catch the mini me line either. Two sick lines that went right over my head before I looked it up on rapgenius.

Not at all. Most Eminem fans (including me) overlook it for it's symbolism. Eminem changes his style with every album, but Recovery is a change of character.

I took a long break from it, but after listening to all of it a few weeks ago, I realized it's a great album in its own right. There are plenty of great songs: Going Through Changes, Talkin' to Myself, Seduction, Almost Famous, Cold Wind Blows, 25 To Life, Spacebound.

But you're only getting the perspective of one person, remember that. If you are going to give it a try, start with this:
