But forging maps just isn't gratifying enough anymore... It's so limited. Hell, compared to something like UDK I'd have to say its rather juvenile. I want full creative control of a project!

This is the probably with being obsessive... I go completely overboard with these sorts of things. I have a bad feeling this will be one of those life encompassing hobbies... My addiction to bodybuilding is bad enough already.

Unreal Technology refers to the Unreal Engine 3, which is the same game engine that UT3, GoW 2 & 3, and countless other major titles are built off of. Epic provides a free version of their engine, which is significantly scaled down, for the general public and aspiring developers. Essentially you can either build a game from the ground up with it or simply create maps for existing games.

Hey, it's been awhile. Sorry for the late response my life had just gotten ridiculously busy with work and I've gotten somewhat addicted to Dark Souls. It is about time I start poking my head back into the forging scene, however. :)

How have you been?

The way I did it was by just running back and forth to each side. When i'd eventually get knocked out of there, it was one I wasn't quick enough to the other side. Not really timing on the other guys part, but more bad timing on mine. During that game, I had the thought that a player more skilled than me could hold that area indefinitely if he timed the spawns well.

I was thinking we should do some sexy rock walling for the superman bank room on Necros. It just feels so right, and I can't get the idea out of my mind. Thoughts?

Tempting! I'll check with the other guys. I think we were about decided to stick to just the three of us plus Shad0w Viper, but they might be open to your involvement. I've generally been impressed with both your maps and your feedback on others' maps so I certainly wouldn't mind having you aboard.
