Hey EpICx ReMiX XD I read your post on cavitateds profile about aesthetics and symmetrical maps. So basically a symmetrical map is a map that is the same on both sides one side mirrors the other an asymmetrical map it a map that I not the same on both sides its kind of like a map with its own style with more of a free formed layout. Aesthetics are like the designs on a map they give the map originality,creativity and style it is like art to give the map a little bit of looks to get rid of the blandness of a map.

I've been a member on Forge hub for... hell... 4 1/2 years. I became a Guardian probably about a year and a few months ago. A Guardian is basically a mini-moderator which helps keep the map forums clean. In July I became a full moderator. Before I became a Guardian, I was actively involved in the Review Hub (now defunct) which was an official Hub guild which focused on reviewing others' maps.

To become a moderator you first need to be a guardian. But to become a Guardian you need to be active, support the community and show general interest. Get involved, take on responsibility and earn the community's trust. You know, that sort of thing.

It's also kind of funny that you ask now, since we just had moderator/guardian applications and those ended on the 16th. But honestly, if you're thinking you want to become a moderator, don't think about becoming a moderator; just think about being a good citizen, respecting all forum rules and the rest of the community.

I'm not angry about it; one of our map forum rules states that there is no "backseat moderating" allowed. This basically means don't go posting on other's maps saying they need pictures, etc. Leave it to the moderators to do the dirty work. You just have to report it and we can do the rest.
