Gears maps. Most have really short cover due to the cover system. there are a lot of person high pillars and stuff. I have no problems with those pillars being extended as a bunch of short pillars look really awkward in halo. However, that doesn't mean you should extended all of the cover high. You should pick and choose to what suits your map the best.

I can't say for sure because I haven't checked on Shad0w's opinion but we may likely use zero bloom. Jetpack will also likely be a non-issue..as we hate it :P
