Well, my advice would be pick one player count and one main gametype and decide how to design the map to work best for that gametype first. If it's infection, look for ways to make it work as well as other good infection maps while still staying original.

Very interesting concept. Of course, you need to really understand what you want from the gameplay as well. What kind of map were you thinking of?

I have been extremely busy of late, and have not been doing requests, so it may be a little while until I get to yours.

Yeah that's what I thought, but melee modifier doesn't work for melee weapons, ironically.

Ok. its just I have made an perfect working **** Zombie type map with a random weapon box and everything, but the humans can just pick up an energy sword and have 1 hit kill. I've tried loads of damage/health combinations but i cant get humans to not have 1 hit kill with them but normal damage with any other weapon. Its so annoying :'|(
