I don't see why the remaining teams being from the US would cause any kind of bias. We have no interest in seeing US players go any further than EU players, or players from anywhere else, so what is your point on that matter?

As for the decision itself, it was stated before that there was not enough conclusive proof for one side or the other, and so it was left to a coin toss as per the tournament rules. The pictures provided do not show definitively that they could join, as the 'available to join' symbol appears regardless of connection issues, so it could well be visible but them not be able to join because of connection or NAT issues.

As I said to Kij Kajj, both Shock Theta and I are from the UK, the Staff at Forge Hub are from multiple different countries, so your idea of a US-bias is even more ridiculous. The decision was made based on assessing the whole situation, not simply allowing the US team to progress.

People really need to learn to have fun. It's a game after all!

We played guys who were constantly yapping at us because our last match was decided via coin toss (the other team simply couldnt play on our agreed-upon time, and kinda just dropped it in our laps because they felt they couldn't get a match together). They were acting like totally douches, just going WE GONE PLAY, IF NOT WE AUTOMATICALLY WIN, and being completely belligerent the entire time. Then when we finally did play, which I had to rush home after dropping my sister off at college, we were met by teabagging and general douchery "This is how we're doing it" game changes, nothing that could get them DQd but they were completely douchey.

We might forfeit since I lost interest in the tourney after playing the douches we did. Just need to check with my partner, he may still want to play. I'll let you know by tomorrow.
