      Ok, I've been working on S's redesign between my hours of homework today, and I just finished it. I think it'll pretty much fix all the problems anyone had with the map without changing it too much.

      I gave up already. He's very convinced of his own correctness which I think is funny, because he's clearly not played even one of those maps. I like how he said "I'm done arguing" and then kept right on arguing... Anyway, thanks and I hope I at least make the final three this time. This is my third (I think?) FHF nomination so it would be nice to finally make the front page. I feel like I've had good word of mouth on this particular map but unfortunately, as bad luck would have it, several of the other nominees are friends of mine who I would usually think might vote for me, if not for their map getting nominated. That probably doesn't help my cause! :)

      I really like the idea of the spartan base being above the center. that way phase 1 can be more interesting, and the core wont go through the base in phase 3. It'll still be easier to move while it's in the center, but that will make the home stretch that much more epic and difficult. For phase 2, we'll have to be careful, but as long as the elites have easy enough access to either territory from their spawns and we balance everything right, it should work very well. Teleporters between spawns is a great idea. I would want some more verticality, but my Starcraft bananas are awesome.

      I'm still working on the concept. I have the design about 50% done, bananas and all. I'll show you soonish, I think it could be very interesting. The scale will be rather off, and height variation will be very minor in the concept because that's how Starcraft is.

      I'm messing around with making a concept in the SC2 editor, and I've had an idea. What if you started out in more or less the center of the map, and the map expanded from there? You'll have to see my design for it to really make sense, but that would allow us to really expand the map, rather than move from one area to the next. I'll show you tomorrow. Someone took my smiley face ball out of the mini wine glass it was sitting in, and I need to find it.

    I am an aspiring level designer with a Halo portfolio stretching back to Halo: Reach. I generally focus on Big Team Battle and 4v4 maps that feature vehicles. Two of my maps, Hitchhiker and Excavtion, were featured in the Forge playlist in Halo 4 Matchmaking.
