damn dude... thats depressing! I really need testers for *cough*thatmap*cough*. Tz is like AWOL and I'm struggling to find staff to play with :(
TGIF didn't really happen. I got nowhere near enough people though I'm willing to try again next week.
I experimented with export settings while I was at my grandma's and took your advice. No issues whatsoever if I exported solely in one session as opposed to recording/exporting. Not to mention it significantly boosted the speed of exporting a file, even when it had to be converted to the much beefier prores4444 resolution. Before it took like 5 minutes for a 20 second clip, it took less than a minute this time around, probably closer to 40 seconds.
lol lemme know. I really really want to get this and I definitely will if my story gets into the New Yorker lol.
Oh, that may be my issue with the quick export then. I didn't recall the problem back when I was experimenting at first, and my youtube video after discovering the quick export reflects that. Interesting. Thanks.
How's the quality? I always get visual artifacts and undue blur unless I export it with manual settings.
Do you ever have problems with the PVR/eyetv? I captured short clips for my machinima, with the footage ending right when the clip menu pops up in-game. But when I export the footage, it skips ahead. For example, when I captured a 20 second clip, the video is fine until maybe 10 seconds in, then promptly skips to about 2 seconds before the reach-control menu pops up, meaning it cut out like 8 seconds. If I edit it in Eyetv to rectify this, it cuts straight to the end regardless. I don't know if it's necessarily eyetv, but it's across the board for almost all the clips, which vary in length, and that leads me to believe that it's the program's fault.
Neil Patrick Harris voicing a prince with hair made out of bubble-gum while riding a black unicorn and singing a love song. What's not to understand.
