I'm not a race track guy because personally I hate bungies implementation of it. Rally isn't bad but most often I don't like the track or the speed. I did a quick post of a Revenent, rally, arena style map. It's actually leaves me squeezing the hell out of my controller. Revenent Rampage Arena. Let me know what you think.

"This is Haven, and it is by Atlas Shrugs."
      "Shruggin"
      "Is Shruggin"
      "Is Shruggin!"
      "Is Shruggin?"
      "Yeah... Is Shruggin."
"Ok I'm sure we'll spell that right... or not."

Yeah I found it very entertaining as well :)

Thx. I just read that. I thought I was in the wrong section when I glanced at the page and saw the video. :) I really appreciate your input. I totally wasn't expecting that.

      Are you guys using filters?

Because it's easier to just apply a filter to the screen afterward, and offers more options.

I was originally going to use in-game filters for my comic, but if i came up with a screen better used at a later date and it didn't match...

When I make a long-form machinima in the future, there's a scene where in-game filters could be used but I'm going to hand-vector (or use an editor's program) every still for a comic-book-ish vibe.

That being said, I'd love to see a noir comic, probably my favorite genre.

Yeah I was discussing the song and the book it was based on earlier today. The book, "The Master and Margarita" was one of the few books I actively enjoyed reading during my decade long "Reading bores me" stint that only recently concluded. It's about the Devil wreaking havoc in Soviet Russia. Hilarious satire and just overall badassery.

Lol the good ole capitalist system, might even work in an extended metaphor about the $10,000 Forge Budget.

I actually have a story I submitted to the New Yorker a few days ago to see if it'd get published. I can send it to you if you'd like. It's all wordplay and nonsensical humor.

Lol you should name the company Blackwater.

The comic I'm working on isn't in Halo (though its predecessor, which was going to be scripted before this one, was going to be). I have been interested in it for a while though, but I may just stick with machinima (not that I've finished that either, I do have scripts completed, however).

Well I've never read it (I'm actually not that big of a reader, though I am rediscovering it, so to speak) but I'd always been interested in it as, and this is going to sound much more superficial than it is, the title is magnificent. Someone gave me the book as a gift and I've been wary to start it.

I've read quite a bit on Rand so I was worried it'd be a bit preachy as it is her seminal work next to the Fountainhead. Is that a valid concern or are the politics heavy-handed than those in an allegory?

“If you saw Atlas, the giant who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of his strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down on his shoulders—what would you tell him to do?” " To Shrug."
