So I didn't change any of the default settings when I reinstalled the capture program. And when I went to export, it was on .h264 automatically. When I exported it, it literally took less than 5 seconds for a 7 minute game, and it was in full HD quality.
If you can't think of anything, just make an inspiration of your old map. With Foundry's limited forging capabilities, you should be able to do something much bigger. Over time, you'll eventually come up with something. It's not about keeping up, it's about improving your own forging ability and creativity. By forging and releasing more maps, you may potentially be inspired by something along the way. You may even come up with a different take on your own map (A 3 Legged Goat released both Jackal Creek and Frontier, for example. The two maps are extremely similar, but he made Frontier into what he wanted Jackal Creek to be.) I think you'll be able to keep up fine with LD. He's finished multiple maps, and you've only finished one. It's only natural that you would think him better than you. Don't be discouraged to release a map simply because there are better maps out there. Go for it. Dedication is a big thing in forging, which is the exact reason I have yet to release a map.
Yeah, somehow I just knew that thread was going to end up getting locked. But hey, at least I got a laugh out of Ladnil's incredulous response.
