i really like that idea. I can imagine having a central room in which things are managed, with everything making it's way toward it, as opposed to an assembly line approach. The reason i lean towards the idea of splitting up the production of the aircraft into completely different rooms, is because i think it will ease the workload when it comes to complex animations. I imagine it would be much easier to begin and finish animation sequences, with the aircraft just entering and exiting.

hey man, that's cool. I was going to ask you if you had done any more thinking on the subject, but i appreciate that, when your a student, you have times where you are free and times when you really need to dedicate to your study.

Mmmm, just thought I'd throw this out there. Ambiance's spawns cannot be perfected. If you are playing any more than 1v1 then you can have guys in opposite chokepoints/rooms and they can see 2-3 rooms at once, so there won't be a safe place to spawn. They're really good right now, but I doubt there will be a point when they are flawless... Otherwise, everything is well. Gametypes are being set up n stuff.

Yeah definitely, I just love competitive FPSing so I try to give it a shot whenever I'm in the mood. I suck, and being Quake that shows even more than it would in other games, but it's still pretty fun.

Yeah I do that for Quake Live. I hold it in one hand and use the left stick for movement, but the mouse for aiming (because aiming with a stick against mouse users is like punching yourself in the face while playing). You can use Xpadder on PC to do it if you're interested. I also looked in to getting a single hand nunchuck for that purpose, but nothing quite fit the bill for a reasonable price.

Basically why I dislike PC shooter gaming. Mouse aiming is beautiful, but WASD messes with my hand and mind something rotten. I'm sure I could get used to it, and I can see the objective benefits that Quake players and the like talk about with very responsive movement, but the part of me that loves being able to spread my palm out doesn't want to get used to it...

I'll check it out when my boot camp is up and running, looks...weird...but interesting. Walking around on that hilly terrain looks hella clunky though, but I guess it being too flat would make it dull and worse for interesting gameplay.
