hah yes. That time inbetween those games was where it became standard for xbox controllers on PC games to behave identical to xbox 360. They have the same hotkeys and button combo's as well, it's all coded into the game.
I switch between an xbox controller and mouse/keyboard too, depending on what i'm doing. I usually revert to controller for navigational tasks, as it's less effort. Aiming with a controller is so hard though, because the movement of both the character and NPC's is inherently glitchy for a Bethesda game, so you really only need a good mouse just to shoot good.
5 and 6 are always mid-range in my mind, and 7 is usually just beaking through to high-performance. It's weird that whatever graphics i run on, my laptop will still stutter. Yet it's capable of high quality on every setting with almost no drop in frame rate. I can run anisotropic filtering at 4-8 levels, which is pretty insane.
dual core 2.4ghz (of which fallout probably doesn't even take advantage of) ati 4560 radeon (crap) 4gb ddr2 ram (of which fallout uses 2) and then mods that improve everything,
ofcourse! these weather mods are beautiful. I keep getting caught in sandstorms. I'll have to grab you some screenshots, i'm so impressed by how my laptop handles these graphics.
I met ED-E and Veronica, and they are now my companions. They are both really cool characters, as are all of the companions to be fair. ED-E is an eyebot, the enclave robots that broadcasted radio transmissions in Fallout 3. Veronica is an ex-brotherhood scribe, who wears robes and uses a power-fist. She's so ****ing funny running in and smashing anything and everything that moves. Absolutely fearless. I'm going to get her some bigger firepower when i get a bit higher. I was hoping a super-sledge? What do you think?
God dam New Vegas is good. I have started a new character. Removed mods that caused unfair advantage, and kept mainly visual enhancement mods. Except of course my svd dragunov, but the weapon is weaker than a regular sniper. I set myself as level 20, because i thought i'd set myself a bit of a challenge getting around. My god is it hard! I was using the 9mm pistol for ages, because that's all i could find. I decided to make it for Novac, which involved going south through Primm to the Mojave outpost, east through Nipton, and then north. I battled through packs of scorpions until i found a caravan escort who helped me. We were then ambushed by the Legion, and i chose to observe, as i didn't want to make them hostile to me. As the dust settled, a whole pack of night stalkers literally jumped out at us from the darkness! i couldn't see **** with the darker-night mods, and before i knew it, the entire caravan was wiped out by the pack. Scary ****.
last week or so yeah. i was playing it when 2 came out, because the first one is so much better online. you should get it, it's probably like a pound these days
Awesome! Thanks man, and now I can be just like y... and now I can fix my own BBCode! Thanks man, youre beast. :)
scratch that, when you copy and paste the spoilers arent spoilers. They are just icons and the contents are still showing, sorry.
Hey one last little favor. OK, maybe not so little. I made a TG thread for Aegis and I sorta just... copy and pasted everything form v1 of my Aegis thread. It isnt as messed up as the preview was, but there are still a lot of spoilers. Its fine if you dont do this, it would just be nice if you did.
