Actually I did have some ideas about the operation of the entire plant. I understand that you want each portion of the assembly process to take place in one room, then move onto the next. I think it'd be pretty neat if each of those rooms were oriented around a central room where there would be a elevator crane shaft sort of thing in the middle. It would receive 'pods' from each of the rooms and rotate them into position where they could be put together, then the pods would be disassembled and the unit would move on to the hangar.

I think it makes sense in a robot sort of way. Should one room fail, another room can take over it's process, without the whole line shutting down. From a systems perspective, it'd basically be a central node connected to each outlying node.

It would have a lot going on though, so I don't know if a) we have the processing power to do it, b) how the player would respond to it. I think it'd look pretty cool with the amount of stuff moving.

Yeah but definitely not for a little while. I'm a bit skint right now and I'd need to buy the game itself and a new graphics card.

I'm off Thursday, so I'll be able to finally have some time to do this. I've been super busy, what with the vacation and work. I've got some ideas I'll illustrate out, see how you like them.

Yeah I tried Fallout 3 on my brother's PC with a controller, felt weeeird, plus menus still work in a mouse-oriented way rather than scrolling up and down options which is a *****. Did NV fix that with a more controller friendly shift when you plug in?

4650 isn't that bad, having run on a GMA950 for 3 years I take offence at such an implication. Even now I only have a 7300.

I just shelled out for a full CE LAN setup man (minus tube TVs, still working on those), my retro yearnings have been fulfilled for a good while.

Did you know MLG guys made like 10 custom maps for CE on console? Some of them are pretty damn awesome, gotta say.

Lmao, yeah... I'd stick with the 470. The best thing about RAM is you can always upgrade it. If you get a mobo with 4 slots, we'll get you two sticks of 2GB... that way, if you want to improve it that bit more, you can buy another 4GB later.
