Nope i'm going this year. I already have student finance debts from last year so i'm on record and will be unaffected.

Yeh i'm pretty ecstatic, i never expected to be able to know i'm going. But because the course is so tightly knit, they are capable of hand picking who they want.

      Just leaves me with the entire summer. So i've got to develop;

      - Life drawing and character design skills, and then techniques to move into Photoshop
      - Landscape drawing and composition skills, and techniques to move that into Photoshop

      - Autodesk Maya
      - Adobe After Effects
      - UDK

They even use the CryEngine to make stuff there. It's gonna be sweet!

      Yo homes.

Had to go to Stoke, 2 1/2 hours there by train. 5 HOURS BACK god dam delays. + i fell asleep and missed my stop haha.

I got a place at Uni though, which is very good considering the course i want to do only has 16 spots, and even better considering it is the only course i applied for :)

VFX: Visual Effects and Concept Design

i get to go to this. The uni has had a stand 6 years running, and is the only UK uni there. I'll get to go see presentations from Ubisoft, EA, Sony etc. You also get to talk to the guys over the new few days, and pitch yourself to see if you can arrange a job for graduation. You go on your second year, so they will give you guidance on what you should focus on for your final year to make yourself as employable as possible.

Saw this and I think it might be possible with our site.

Tapatalk - Forum App on the iPhone, Android, webOS, Windows Phone 7 (WP7), BlackBerry for vBulletin, phpBB, IPBoard, xenForo, SMF and more

works for vbulletin 3.8.x, but i dont know how truly deep you and/or others have edited the coding on FH. Probably involves going through and examining the API and code, but if possible, FH will have it's own app (kinda)! :D

Hey, Tz told me to come to you with this since he doesn't have some type of access. The rank image for TGIF Host right now is a little off. I went ahead and fixed it... here

As for the job, I'm sure it'll be worth it, as it is essentially a resume builder regardless of what the pay may end up being. I'm just really excited because I love the potential for storytelling in that universe.

The prompt asked for an objective style, but for the "technology" article, I wrote it so you could read it straightfaced or as an article from the perspective of the antagonists, so it comes off really humorous. I'm hoping they like that.

For the sake of showing off what I could bring to the table, I've started writing other articles in the same style, hoping to pitch it as something they can add to a collector's edition or something, as it will definitely appeal to fans who like the Portal style of humor.

It just relies on them asking what makes me different than the other candidates, which I hope they do rather than just picking from the current crop of submissions.

hey, I have a slight problem, I was talking to a guy on the chat box discussing bungie pro and how he could render some clips for me. he disappeared off the chatbox and I didn't catch his name. could you access the archives and see who he was, it was at 00:48 GMT or maybe a few minutes later. thanks for your time

Yeah I know, but he could easily do that after his TV run D:

Well...it is and it isn't. The acting is superb, and some of the changes they made (it was based on an amazing ongoing comic) are great. But from what I remember some of the later episodes were horrible, especially the season finale (though I personally still liked it because of the actors involved).

Also, I just applied for THIS. Took me 5 hours of writing (I think, I wrote until I was done and before I knew it, it was 6 am) and all the time it took to nearly 100% the first two AC games.

If I get the job it'll be more than worth it, lol.

just watch a tonnnn of TV.

are you at the normal place then? or stuck somewhere?

also, related to the first point, Robert Sheehan is leaving Misfits.

Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody is perhaps the most famous Auror of modern times, single-handedly responsible for capturing numerous wizard criminals. He is also said never to have killed his quarry - even when permitted to do so - unless he had no other choice. Moody's face is badly scarred and he has lost several body parts, including his left eye, right lower leg and part of his nose whilst fighting Dark wizards.
